I was working full-time during my final semester of university and the head of school agreed to let me undertake an independent research project in lieu of a communications course. The thesis was about young journalists in a modern newsroom and scored me a high distinction, but was also put forward to the Australian Journalism Review.
They published it! It came out in their most recent journal and is titled Shaken Not Stirred. I’m pretty chuffed to say the least.
